CERN Accelerating science

Mihaela completed her Law Degree at University of Bucharest and obtained a master's diploma in Foreign trade and international marketing in Barcelona. Before joining CERN, she managed procurement and contract management activities in the nuclear fusion industry and aerospace and defense industry. Mihaela joined CERN as a Procurement Officer in October 2023.

Lois holds an undergraduate degree in International Economics and a MA in European Affairs.  Before joining CERN, she completed a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament in Brussels, supporting the procurement team with the new Framework Contract. She joined CERN in 2023, working on the procurement of bare PCBs, and in 2025 she took on the role of Procurement Officer.
