The Procurement group is divided in the following sections:

• Services, Process Excellence, Communication (IPT-PI-SE);
• Orders, Stores and BCO (IPT-PI-OS);
• Supplies (IPT-PI-SU);
• Civil Engineering, FCC and Outreach (IPT-PI-CE).
• Procurement Group Leader's office (DO-IT, MICE)

The Services, Process Excellence and Communication section is in charge of:

• Onsite and offsite services, temporary labour office, insurances, pension fund and concessions
• Responsible procurement and process improvement projects
• First-level legal advice
• Communication, social media and webpage content

The Orders, Stores and BCO section is in charge of:

• Orders below 50 kCHF, Stores orders, Procurement for Stores.
• Standardization: Policies for standardized products, blanket order contracts.
• Reporting: Requests from stakeholders 
• BCO
• Supplier Database. 

The Supplies section is in charge of:

• Supplies orders over 50 kCHF
• Market Surveys, Invitations to Tender.
• Contact with different Departments (except SCE and HSE).
• R&D Collaboration agreements 

The Civil Engineering, FCC and Outreach section is in charge of:

• Civil engineering, construction and renovation contracts: Including dedicated forms of contract (such as FIDIC), policies and strategy related to civil engineering contracts and civil engineering consultancy.
• Outreach: Liaison with ILOs, industry events, and coordination of industry requests to participate in external events.
• FCC coordination of activities: Strategic advice to the FCC team, initial engagement of the Procurement Service and coordination of early-stage procurement activity.

The Procurement Group Leader's office is in charge of: 

• Internal administration
• Electricity, gas, water and SIG contracts
• Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events organisation (MICE)
