CERN Accelerating science

Simon completed his Supply Chain Engineering degree and a MS in Purchasing Management in France. Having worked for eight years as a purchaser in industry, he joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in 2019.

Dominique joined CERN in 1984 and has been working within the Procurement Service since 1987.

Merethe arrived at CERN in May 1992. She has gained her experience in various services onsite; HR, TE, DG project office, EN departmental planning office and in organization of conferences. She joined the Section as a procurement officer and as organizer of the CERN Member States Industrial Days events in October 2019.

Mihaela completed her Law Degree at University of Bucharest and obtained a master's diploma in Foreign trade and international marketing in Barcelona. Before joining CERN, she managed procurement and contract management activities in the nuclear fusion industry and aerospace and defense industry. Mihaela joined CERN as a Procurement Officer in October 2023.

Arielle joined CERN in 1988 and has been working as a Procurement Assistant in the Procurement Service since 1991.

Steeve completed his accountancy education in France in 2007. He joined the Procurement Service in 2017.

With a federal diploma in Purchasing and Supply and experience as a buyer for the city of Lausanne, André joined CERN in 2024.

Davide is completing his Bachelor in Economics (minor in management) at Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.

Before joining CERN in September 2024 as Administrative Intern, Davide has gained experience in the audit sector and in the start-up environment in Lugano.
