Cristina Lara
Cristina completed her degree in business administration in Madrid (Spain) and joined CERN in 1995 as a member of the Procurement Service in charge of IT equipment and LHC purchases. Since April 2023 she has become the Head of the Procurement Service.

Lisa Bellini Devictor
Lisa completed her Civil Engineering degree in France and an MSc in Management in New York. Having worked for ten years in the French and English administration on procurement processes for motorways and Public Private Partnerships, she joined CERN in May 2010 as a Procurement and Contract Officer.
Joshua Luke Davison
Joshua completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at University College London in 2013. He worked for several years in London in the procurement of goods, services and research for a multinational power systems company. He joined CERN as a Procurement Officer in 2017.
Jérôme Pierlot
Jérôme Pierlot graduated in Electrical Engineering in Belgium, and joined CERN in 1998. He started as a project manager in the Engineering Department, and was appointed section leader responsible for low voltage distribution network, in 2008. After 18 years in the Engineering Department, Jérôme gave his career a new orientation and joined the IPT-PI group in 2016, as Head of Procurement for Accelerators & Technology in charge of all procurement activities related to accelerators and technology for CERN.
Charles Carayon
Charles completed his MSc in Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) in 2008. Before joining CERN, he managed procurement activities in the cryogenic, space and radio navigation industries. Charles joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in July 2015.
Legal Adviser
Alexandra Hahnel-Borgeaud
Alexandra completed her Law degree in Grenoble and PhD studies in Berlin. Having worked at the European Commission in Brussels and with a private law firm in Berlin, she joined CERN in 2004 as a member of the Legal Service. She has worked as a member of the Legal Service and as Legal officer within the Procurement Service since 2006.
Anna Rayson
Anna completed her qualifications in international law and comparative business law in France, Switzerland and in the UK. After experience in the public and private sectors, both in EMEA and APAC, she joined CERN in 2021 as a legal adviser within the Procurement Service.
Procurement Officer
Merethe Morer-Olafsen
Merethe arrived at CERN in May 1992. She has gained her experience in various services onsite; HR, TE, DG project office, EN departmental planning office and in organization of conferences. She joined the Section as a procurement officer and as organizer of the CERN Member States Industrial Days events in October 2019.
Evangelia Vordogianni
Eva completed her qualifications in law in Greece, United States and Belgium. Having worked at the European Commission, at private law firms and other governmental organisations in the area of procurement and contracts management, she joined CERN in 2024 as Procurement Officer.
Jessica Stearns Metcalfe
Jessica completed her undergraduate degree in Economics in the United States and a MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom. Before joining CERN in March 2024 as a Procurement Officer, Jessica worked in procurement teams in the private and public sector within the facilities and property management industries.
Gloria García Hernández
Gloria completed her Law degree and MBA in Spain and Ireland. Before joining CERN, she worked as Legal and Compliance Advisor for contracts and projects in both the public and private sector, and as International Trade Advisor for the Trade Commission of the Embassy of Spain in Chicago. She is a Procurement Officer within the Supplies section.
Miriam Cordero Muriel
Miriam completed her Masters of Software Localization and New Technologies in Seville. Before joining CERN in November 2023 as a Procurement Officer, Miriam worked as a Localization Project Manager for e-Learning in the Life Sciences field.
Charles Parmentier
Charles completed his Master in International Purchasing at Ecole de Management de Strasbourg (EM Strasbourg) in 2018. Before joining CERN, he managed procurement activities for a European Institution and for an international military organization. Charles joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in October 2023.
Anthony Veyret
Anthony holds a Specialized master’s degree in international Procurement from EM Lyon Business School and a master’s degree in Corporate Finance & Capital Markets from IAE Grenoble. Before joining CERN, he managed different procurement activities in several FMCGs in Cosmetics, Fragrances, Flavors and Home Care. Anthony joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in October 2023.
Daniel Schoerling
Dr. Daniel Schoerling received his M.Sc. in Engineering and MBA degree in 2009 and his PhD in 2012 from the Technical University of Freiberg, Germany. Since 2009, he was with CERN working on normal- and superconducting accelerator magnet projects for several present and future machines like HL-LHC, LHC, CLIC, FCC, PS and ELENA. After more than 10 years in the Technology Department, Daniel gave his career a new orientation and joined the IPT-PI group in 2021 as procurement officer.
Álvaro Leciñana Soldevilla
Álvaro completed his Mechanical Engineering degree in 2019 and his MBA in 2021. Before joining CERN, he worked in procurement activities in the packaging sector, participated in an engineering research project and worked during 2021 in the Trade Commission of the Embassy of Spain in Chicago.
Julia Bentchikou
Julia completed her Master degree in Management Science in Brussels, Belgium. She joined CERN as a Procurement Officer in January 2022.
Josephine Bengtsson
Josephine completed her Masters of International Business and Finance in Lausanne. She joined CERN in 2020 as an administrative student and has been working within the Procurement Service since January 2022, as a Procurement Officer.
Simon Guerri dall'Oro
Simon completed his Supply Chain Engineering degree and a MS in Purchasing Management in France. Having worked for eight years as a purchaser in industry, he joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in 2019.
Nordine Azizi
Nordine completed his Master's Degree in Procurement in Annecy (France) in 2010 and joined CERN in 2011. He works within the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer.
Hiba Gerster
Hiba completed her commercial education in France and joined CERN in 2000. She has been working within the Procurement Service since 2005.
Bjorn Jenssen
Bjorn completed his Business (MBA) and Mechanical Engineering education (MSc) in Bergen and Trondheim (Norway). Having worked as a financial controller in Norway he joined CERN in 1996 as an Assistant Department Planner. Since 2009 he has worked within the Procurement Service as a Procurement and contract officer.
Adam Horridge
Adam completed his BSc in Management at Manchester Business School in 2005 and qualified as a chartered member of the Institute of Purchasing and Supply in 2011. Before joining CERN, he managed procurement activity on major engineering construction projects, sourced and executed globally, in both the glass and oil and gas industries. He joined the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer in August 2014.

Dominique joined CERN in 1984 and has been working within the Procurement Service since 1987.

Sebastien completed his management education in France in 1997. He joined CERN in 2004 as a Procurement and Contract Officer in the Procurement Service.

Sandrine Magnan
Sandrine completed her International Business education in Aix-en-Provence (France). Having worked for 12 years in the fields of imports, exports, procurement and sales she joined CERN in 2008. She has worked within the Procurement Service as a Procurement Officer since September 2009.
Andrea Musso
Mechanical Engineer from CNAM Paris, joined CERN in 1994, participated in the RF cavities production follow-up for LEP 200. In 1998 joined the magnet group; this was the prototyping phase for the main dipole magnets of LHC. Follow up of the contract of Dipoles, coordination for interconnections of LHC during installation, Cryo-Magnet coordinator during commissioning and Team Leader during Long Shutdown 1. Project Engineer for Hi-Lumi Project for collaborations with INFN Milan, IHEP China and KEK Japan.
Floris Bonthond
Floris completed his technical education in France and joined CERN in 1991. He was responsible for the installation of various safety systems in CERN’s accelerators and experimental areas before joining the Procurement Service in 2009.

Arielle joined CERN in 1988 and has been working as a Procurement Assistant in the Procurement Service since 1991.
Killian Bozonet
Killian completed his education in HEG (Haute Ecole de Gestion) at Geneva. He has now been working within the Procurement Service since September 2020.

Steeve completed his accountancy education in France in 2007. He joined the Procurement Service in 2017.

Véronique Angelini
Véronique arrived at CERN in 2009 and has gained experience in various departments before joining IPT in 2019. She has been in charge of the Temporary labour office since July 2022.
