As time goes by, the Software may change and so may the licence package and/or Services available. In the industry and because of the nature of the software, it is possible that the access and use of the software becomes limited or subject to additional subscription of tools and/or additional licences.

In order to prevent this, make sure that:

• the SLA is drafted in such a way that the additional tools are not contained in the exclusion of the service level,
• the services are defined broadly and allow CERN to terminate in the event of unavailability.
