In many cases, termination may be subject to a termination charge. The Procurement Officer shall attempt to erase such charge and if this is not possible, make sure to protect CERN’s interests by:

• Limiting the scope of application of such Termination Charge to the event of a termination at CERN’s convenience;
• Negotiating the Termination Charge to the lowest possible financial amount;
• To have a reciprocal Termination Charge.
