It is standard practice that the Licensor offers an option for CERN to benefit from a free trial and/or free additional services. In most cases, said trials and additional services are offered for an estimated period of time under a Master Service Agreement and/or in addition to a Licence Agreement or a Work Order. Those Services are often subject to a different set of rules arbitrarily defined and subject to change by the Licensor. To have the best visibility and to make sure CERN benefit from fair conditions, make sure to:

• reference the section addressing CERN’s status as an inter-governmental organisation;
• implement a notice mechanism allowing CERN to have enough visibility.
